Entravision relaunches Politics Con Acento with expanded TV distribution

Entravision Communications (NYSE: EVC) announced the expanded relaunch of Politics Con Acento, a bilingual political show targeting Latino voters. The program will air weekly as a one-hour television show across Entravision's 21 Univision affiliates, Altavision, and WAPA Orlando 26, in addition to digital and social media platforms.

The show is hosted by Stephanie Ochoa, Entravision's White House correspondent. Distribution begins March 29, 2026, with episodes airing on Univision from 9-10 AM PT/ET, Altavision at 12-1 PM PT/ET, and WAPA Orlando at 12-1 PM ET.

According to a company statement, the program aims to inform and mobilize Latino voters by covering political trends and policies. The bilingual format targets younger Hispanic voters, with the company citing data showing 72% of Hispanic Gen Z and Millennial registered voters communicate in English or both languages.

"For millions of Hispanics living in the United States, the decisions made in Washington are deeply personal," said Maria Martinez-Guzman, President of Entravision Media. "This show is about giving our community access, clarity, and a voice—connecting them directly with the leaders shaping their future."

The debut episode will feature coverage of nationwide "No Kings Day" protests and an interview with Senator Catherine Cortez Masto about Latino heritage, U.S. policy, Iran tensions, and Nevada voter issues. The program will also include a report on the Nevada National Security Site debate.

Entravision operates as a media and advertising technology company, providing video, audio and digital marketing services primarily targeting Latino audiences in the U.S. The company serves as the largest affiliate group of the Univision and UniMás television networks.
