Veritone partners with Oracle to migrate AI solutions to cloud infrastructure
Veritone Inc. (NASDAQ: VERI) announced a multi-year agreement with Oracle Corp. (NYSE: ORCL) to migrate its artificial intelligence solutions to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The partnership aims to enhance the scalability, security, and performance of Veritone's AI offerings, including its aiWARE platform, Veritone Data Refinery, and Veritone Data Marketplace.
Under the agreement, Veritone will use Oracle's cloud infrastructure to power its aiWARE platform and leverage Oracle's distributed cloud capabilities to meet security and data residency requirements. The migration is intended to support Veritone's expansion across commercial and public sector markets.
"Through this partnership with Oracle, we are strengthening our leadership in managing unstructured data and complex, multi-model AI workflows," said Ryan Steelberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Veritone.
The partnership will support Veritone's services across three areas: commercial sectors including media, sports, entertainment, and news; public sector applications through its Intelligent Digital Evidence Management System for government agencies; and AI data economy services through its data refinery and marketplace platforms.
For commercial applications, Veritone plans to use Oracle's infrastructure to enhance its Digital Media Hub and content licensing services for partners including NCAA, CBS News, Augusta National, and ESPN. In the public sector, the company intends to deploy its evidence management system in environments designed for U.S. government and public sector requirements, including CJIS and FedRAMP-authorized environments.
The information is based on a press release statement from Veritone.
