Crown Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CCK) appointed Dr. John M. Rost as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific and Transit Packaging, effective April 1, 2026, according to a company statement.

Dr. Rost currently serves as President of the Asia Pacific region and is based in Singapore. In his new Tampa, Florida-based role, he will maintain responsibility for Asia Pacific operations while adding oversight of the company's global Transit Packaging operations. He will continue reporting to Timothy J. Donahue, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Dr. Rost joined Crown Holdings in 1997 and previously held the position of Senior Vice President for Technology, Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs. During his tenure, he established a global regulatory team and helped form the company's sustainability team that launched Crown's Twentyby30 program.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Northern State University and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Loyola University Chicago.

"During his brief posting in Asia-Pacific, John has enhanced partner relationships while reenergizing volume growth in the region," Donahue said in the statement.

Crown Holdings, headquartered in Tampa, Florida, supplies rigid packaging products to consumer marketing companies and transit and protective packaging products, equipment and services across various end markets.
