Greenland Energy appoints former TD Ameritrade CEO as executive advisor
Greenland Energy Company (NASDAQ: GLND) announced the appointment of Joe Moglia as Executive Advisor to the Board of Directors, according to a company statement. The appointment follows the completion of a business combination with Pelican Acquisition Corporation, Greenland Exploration Limited, and March GL Company.
Moglia previously served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of TD Ameritrade. He currently serves as Executive Advisor to the President of Coastal Carolina University and previously coached the university's football team. He also holds chairman positions at Fundamental Global & Capital Wealth Advisors and serves as Executive Advisor to FG Nexus.
"Joe's track record of building enduring value in complex and rapidly evolving markets makes him an exceptional strategic partner for Greenland Energy at this critical stage," said Robert Price, Chief Executive Officer of Greenland Energy.
Moglia stated that "Energy, economic security, and geopolitical stability are deeply interconnected. Larry G. Swets Jr., Executive Chairman of Greenland Energy, said Moglia's involvement strengthens the company's leadership platform combining technical, operational, and financial expertise.
Greenland Energy Company focuses on developing Greenland's hydrocarbon resources, with emphasis on the Jameson Land Basin. The company aims to advance oil and gas exploration and create a publicly traded platform for Arctic energy development.
The combined company trades on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol GLND following the business combination closure.
