Intelligent Bio Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ: INBS) announced it received European Patent EP3752831 for technology that contextualizes fingerprint chemical analysis with fingerprint deposition volume. The patent marks the company's eighth European patent grant for its fingerprint sweat drug testing technology.

The patent protects technology that analyzes substances detected in fingerprint sweat by correlating chemical findings with the volume of fingerprint residue deposited during sample collection. The company states this approach improves interpretation of detected substances and strengthens the testing process.

The Intelligent Fingerprinting Drug Testing Solution analyzes fingerprint sweat for substances including opiates, cocaine, methamphetamine, and cannabis.

The system provides sample collection in seconds and results in under ten minutes. Current customer segments outside the United States include construction, manufacturing, engineering, transport, logistics, mining, drug treatment organizations, and coroners.
