March 26, 2026 8:32 AM

Synchronoss Technologies Inc. announced Pat Doran as its new chief executive officer following the company's acquisition by Lumine Group. The appointment was announced March 26.

Doran replaces former CEO Jeff Miller and Chief Financial Officer Lou Ferraro, who stepped down after the transaction closed. The company described Doran as one of its original founding technologists with experience in technology, operations and global business leadership.

"Synchronoss has a strong foundation, a talented global team, and a well-established position in personal cloud," Doran said in a statement. "Having been one of the original founding technologists, I'm honoured to step into this role and lead the company as it enters this next chapter."

The Bridgewater, New Jersey-based company provides personal cloud platforms for telecom operators globally. As part of the leadership transition, Synchronoss is restructuring its organization to align with operating priorities and cloud solution delivery to customers.

The company said it remains focused on supporting global telecom partners and delivering personal cloud platform capabilities. Additional updates on leadership team changes and organizational structure will be shared when appropriate, according to the company statement.

Synchronoss operates as a subsidiary of Lumine Group following the acquisition. The company's SaaS Cloud platform uses artificial intelligence and machine learning features for service provider subscriber engagement and onboarding processes.
