Onconetix highlights Realbotix robot in Ericsson 6G trial

March 25, 2026 12:47 PM

Onconetix Inc. (NASDAQ: ONCO) announced that a Realbotix humanoid robot was featured in Ericsson's pre-standard 6G over-the-air trial at the company's headquarters in Plano, Texas. The robot served as a live endpoint, transmitting video and interacting in real time over Ericsson's test network.

Realbotix Corp. (TSX-V: XBOT), the parent company of Realbotix LLC, reported that Ericsson was its first enterprise client to purchase one of its humanoid robots. During the demonstration, the robot showcased capabilities for AI robotics and real-time video streaming over next-generation wireless networks.

The trial highlighted Realbotix's AI-agnostic architecture, which allows its robots to integrate with various AI systems, cloud platforms, and network environments without dependence on a single AI provider or software stack.

Onconetix entered into a definitive share exchange agreement on February 12, 2026, to acquire 100% of Realbotix LLC in an all-stock transaction. The combined company is expected to trade on Nasdaq following the closing, anticipated in the second half of 2026, subject to shareholder approval, regulatory approvals, and other closing conditions.

Onconetix is a commercial-stage biotechnology company focused on oncology solutions. The company owns Proclarix, an in vitro diagnostic test for prostate cancer approved for sale in the European Union under IVDR regulations.

Realbotix LLC develops AI-powered humanoid robots designed for human interaction in enterprise and consumer environments. The robots are manufactured in the United States and feature patented AI and robotics technologies for lifelike expressions, motion, vision, and social engagement.
