Dell launches redesigned commercial PC lineup with AI capabilities
Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL) introduced a redesigned commercial portfolio featuring Dell Pro notebooks, Dell Pro Precision workstations, desktops, monitors and peripherals, according to a company statement.
The new Dell Pro notebook lineup includes models powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors, supporting on-device AI workloads and Copilot+ PC experiences. The Dell Pro Premium targets executives with a 14-inch laptop featuring magnesium alloy chassis and optional Tandem OLED display. The Dell Pro 7 series offers 13- and 14-inch commercial laptops and 2-in-1s that are up to 18% thinner than previous models.
Dell Pro 5 systems provide configuration options across Intel and AMD processors in 14- and 16-inch sizes, while Dell Pro 3 models start at 2.89 pounds and target administrative tasks. The company also introduced the Dell Pro 5 Micro desktop, which Dell describes as its first Copilot+ PC mainstream desktop with 50 TOPS NPU capability.
The Dell Pro Precision workstation line returns with the Dell Pro Precision 5S starting at 3.1 pounds. Higher-end Dell Pro Precision 5 and 7 series mobile workstations will feature NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell Generation laptop GPUs, while new Dell Pro Precision 9 desktop models can accommodate up to five NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell desktop GPUs.
New Dell Pro P monitors include the 34-inch USB-C Hub Conferencing Monitor with Microsoft Teams and Zoom certification, featuring a Sony Starvis 5MP HDR camera and AI noise cancellation microphones. Additional peripheral products include fingerprint-enabled mice and keyboard combinations.
Pricing was not disclosed in the announcement. Availability varies by product, with some models available March 31 and others scheduled for May release dates.
