GoPro plans to debut new GP3 processor-powered cameras at NAB show
GoPro Inc. (NASDAQ: GPRO) announced it will unveil a new generation of cameras at the 2026 NAB Show from April 19-22 at booth C5519. The cameras will be powered by the company's GP3 processor and target professional users.
According to the company, the GP3-powered cameras feature more than double the pixel processing capability compared to previous models, along with larger sensors and expanded features. The cameras are designed to deliver improved low-light performance, resolution and frame rates while maintaining compact, durable form factors.
"Our customers have made it clear they want more of everything from GoPro—larger sensors, world class low-light performance, higher resolutions and frame rates, next level image quality, improved audio capabilities, longer runtimes and bulletproof reliability in high heat conditions," said GoPro founder and CEO Nicholas Woodman.
The company will showcase multiple new cameras and associated accessories at its NAB booth. Attendees will be able to experience the products and participate in technical briefings with GoPro engineers and product experts.
Rick Loughery, GoPro's senior vice president of global marketing and digital commerce, stated that the NAB Show provides an appropriate venue to introduce the professional-focused camera lineup to the media and entertainment industry professionals attending the event.
GoPro has previously received three Technology & Engineering Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for achievements in camera technology. The company's cameras have been used in Hollywood feature films and series productions.
The information is based on a company press release statement issued March 25, 2026.
