March 25, 2026 7:16 AM

American Express (NYSE: AXP) announced the launch of its Graphite Business Cash Unlimited Card, marking the beginning of what the company describes as its most significant commercial product expansion in recent history. The company plans to introduce eight new or enhanced products, benefits and capabilities for businesses throughout 2026.

The Graphite Business Cash Unlimited Card carries a $295 annual fee and offers unlimited 2% cash back on all eligible purchases and 5% cash back on flights and prepaid hotel bookings through American Express Travel. The card features no preset spending limit and includes Pay Over Time options for payment flexibility.

Card members can earn up to $2,400 in statement credits for One AP platform fees after spending $250,000 on eligible purchases annually. The card provides access to unlimited virtual cards and features a carbon fiber-inspired metal design.

American Express plans to release a Corporate Cash Back Card this fall, targeting companies requiring greater spending control. The card will integrate with new expense management software and provide corporate liability with tailored underwriting.

The company will introduce new expense management software following its 2025 acquisition of Center. The platform will combine card and expense management functions, connecting to accounting, ERP and HR systems. Early access begins this summer for select customers.

New artificial intelligence-powered features include a $300 ChatGPT Business statement credit for U.S. Business Platinum and Business Gold cards, launching this spring. The company will also introduce an Insights Agent for corporate customers and an AI-powered expense app for corporate card members.

According to company data, American Express holds the position as the largest U.S. small business card issuer based on spend and serves over 4.3 million U.S. small business customers. The company reports that most of the 100 largest public U.S. companies use American Express corporate services.
