Tantech receives patent approval notice for hanging cabinet design
Tantech Holdings Ltd (NASDAQ: TANH) announced that its U.S. subsidiary, Tanhome Group Inc., received a Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for a hanging cabinet design patent application.
The Notice of Allowance indicates the patent application passed the USPTO's examination process and will proceed to final patent grant upon payment of the required issue fee. The hanging cabinet design focuses on storage solutions for residential interiors.
The patent application is part of Tantech's strategy to develop what the company describes as a green home and building materials ecosystem. The company stated the patent will strengthen its intellectual property protection in cabinet and home storage product design once officially granted.
"Receiving the Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office marks another important milestone in strengthening the Company's intellectual property portfolio for innovative home products," said Zheyuan Liu, Chief Executive Officer of Tantech.
Tantech continues expanding its intellectual property portfolio in cabinets, flooring solutions, and related home products as part of its North American market strategy. The patent is expected to be formally granted by the USPTO following payment of the required issue fee and completion of administrative procedures.
The China-based company specializes in producing bamboo charcoal-based products and entered the home building materials industry in 2024. Tantech established its U.S. subsidiary in 2022 to strengthen its North American presence.
The information is based on a company press release statement.
