F5 (NASDAQ: FFIV) and Forcepoint announced a partnership to help enterprises secure artificial intelligence systems throughout their operational lifecycle, from data discovery to runtime protection.

The collaboration combines Forcepoint's Data Security Posture Management capabilities for data discovery and classification with F5's AI security tools within its Application Delivery and Security Platform. The integrated approach addresses challenges organizations face in identifying sensitive data locations, tracking data flow through AI systems, and managing risks during production deployment.

The partnership connects Forcepoint's data intelligence with F5's runtime AI protection capabilities. Forcepoint enables organizations to discover, classify and govern sensitive data across cloud, software-as-a-service, endpoint and enterprise environments. F5 provides runtime security through its AI Red Team and AI Guardrails functionality, which monitors AI models and tests for vulnerabilities.

"Enterprises are moving AI initiatives from experimentation to production faster than most security programs can adapt," said John Maddison, Chief Marketing Officer at F5. The combined solution aims to eliminate operational security gaps in AI deployments.

The partnership establishes continuous protection that follows data through its lifecycle, including runtime operations where AI systems operate.

The solution helps security teams identify data vulnerabilities in real time, prioritize AI use cases based on risk levels, enforce runtime controls over AI interactions, and monitor systems for unusual behavior. Continuous monitoring provides ongoing verification that AI systems operate according to enterprise governance requirements.

F5 and Forcepoint are demonstrating the joint solution at the RSA Conference this week, with F5 exhibiting at booth 6365.
