Sonoma Pharmaceuticals launches burn relief hydrogel in CVS and Walmart

March 24, 2026 8:33 AM

Sonoma Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: SNOA) launched its hypochlorous acid-based burn relief hydrogel in CVS and Walmart stores nationwide. The product targets management of minor burns and skin irritations.

The hydrogel represents Sonoma's first large-scale consumer burn relief product. The company previously launched a diaper rash hydrogel in mass retail in 2025 and maintains an established presence in professional healthcare settings with its hypochlorous acid solutions.

The product is being commercialized through a U.S.-based partner that distributes through CVS and Walmart. This approach aligns with Sonoma's strategy to leverage partnerships for retail expansion.

"We are excited to expand further into the consumer over-the-counter market with the introduction of our advanced burn relief hydrogel in leading U.S. retailers," said Amy Trombly, Chief Executive Officer of Sonoma Pharmaceuticals. "This launch builds on the strong foundation established by our prior consumer product success and reflects growing consumer awareness of hypochlorous acid as a safe and effective skincare solution."

Sonoma Pharmaceuticals develops and manufactures stabilized hypochlorous acid products for medical, veterinary, and consumer applications. The company operates manufacturing facilities in Guadalajara, Mexico, and maintains its principal office in Boulder, Colorado. The company supports distribution partners in 55 countries worldwide.
