CrowdStrike launches agentic MDR service to automate threat response
CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) announced the launch of Agentic MDR, a managed detection and response service that uses artificial intelligence agents to automate security workflows and accelerate threat response times.
The cybersecurity company said its Falcon Complete service will deploy intelligent agents built by security analysts to investigate and respond to threats at machine speed. The service aims to address the challenge of AI-enabled adversaries, which the company reported increased operations by 89% year-over-year while average eCrime breakout time decreased to 29 minutes.
"As AI-powered adversaries move faster than defenders can respond, security operations must accelerate beyond manual workflows to machine-speed defense," said Austin Murphy, VP and GM of Falcon Complete. "Agentic MDR combines elite human expertise with agents so our defenders can investigate and respond at the speed modern attacks demand."
CrowdStrike is collaborating with NVIDIA to integrate reasoning capabilities powered by NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Nano and Nemotron Super models within the service. Internal testing showed up to 5x faster investigations and more than 3x higher triage accuracy in high-confidence benign classification performance when powered by NVIDIA Nemotron models, according to the company.
The company also introduced SOC Transformation Services to help organizations modernize their security operations centers. These services assist with migrating to CrowdStrike's Falcon Next-Gen SIEM platform and establishing operational requirements for AI-driven security operations.
CrowdStrike made the announcement at the RSA 2026 conference. The information is based on a company press release.
