Zonos selects CoreWeave cloud platform for cross-border commerce systems
CoreWeave Inc. (NASDAQ: CRWV) announced that Zonos, a cross-border commerce technology company, selected the CoreWeave Cloud platform to power its AI-driven duty, tax, and international checkout systems.
Zonos provides services to global retailers and logistics providers including Cotopaxi, LIV Golf, USPS, and Canada Post. The company manages duties, taxes, and international checkout processes in real time across multiple countries and currencies. These systems require low-latency inference capabilities for compliance decisions made at the point of purchase.
"Zonos chose CoreWeave to power its most latency-sensitive inference workloads because we provide the necessary speed and reliability at a massive scale," said Jon Jones, chief revenue officer of CoreWeave.
Andrew Spencer, chief technology officer of Zonos, stated the partnership addresses infrastructure requirements for cross-border commerce automation. "We've built a platform that embeds compliance, duty and tax intelligence, and international checkout directly into the commerce stack," Spencer said.
CoreWeave positions itself as an AI cloud provider focused on performance optimization. The company referenced achieving an MLPerf benchmark record for AI workloads and receiving a Platinum ranking in SemiAnalysis ClusterMAX evaluations, which assess AI cloud performance, efficiency and reliability.
The partnership involves CoreWeave providing cloud infrastructure to support Zonos's real-time compliance and checkout systems that serve global commerce operations. CoreWeave completed its public listing on Nasdaq in March 2025, according to the company statement.
