Baker Hughes partners with Google Cloud for data center power solutions
Baker Hughes (NASDAQ: BKR) announced a collaboration with Google Cloud to develop AI-enabled power optimization and sustainability solutions for data centers. The partnership combines Baker Hughes' energy technology expertise with Google Cloud's artificial intelligence and digital analytics capabilities.
The collaboration was announced during CERAWeek 2026 and aims to address increasing power demands from AI data center expansion. The companies plan to explore opportunities to utilize underutilized industrial and operational data within data centers and identify pathways for more efficient power use.
Baker Hughes will leverage Google Cloud's platform and digital partner ecosystem to deliver AI-driven solutions at enterprise scale. The company intends to integrate its turbomachinery and power systems expertise with Google Cloud's AI technology to help data center operators improve efficiency and reliability.
