Palo Alto Networks launches secure browser workspace for small business

March 23, 2026 9:03 AM

Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ: PANW) announced the launch of Prisma Browser for Business, a secure workspace designed for small businesses. The product allows business owners to configure and manage applications and AI tools while enabling employees to work securely from any device.

The browser-based workspace includes protection against phishing, ransomware and fraud threats, along with AI controls to prevent unauthorized access to business information. Small businesses currently use an average of 36 applications running in browsers, according to data cited in the announcement.

"For most small businesses, the browser is now the office," said Anupam Upadhyaya, SVP of Product at Palo Alto Networks. "Standard browsers weren't built to stop modern cyberattacks or prevent AI data leaks."

The product features three main capabilities: streamlining workspace management across devices, blocking AI-powered security threats, and controlling AI actions to protect business information. The company states that 95% of companies have experienced security incidents originating in browsers.

Prisma Browser for Business is available in the United States with a 30-day free trial. The cybersecurity company processes threats for enterprise customers and is now offering similar protection to small businesses through this browser-based solution.

The announcement was made based on information from a company press release.
