CBRE hires McKinsey partner as chief technology officer

CBRE Group Inc. (NYSE: CBRE) announced that Anuj Kadyan will join the commercial real estate services firm as Chief Technology & Transformation Officer on May 15.

Kadyan currently serves as a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, where he co-leads the Technology Services practice. He has worked at the consulting firm for 17 years across offices in the U.S., Europe and Asia.

At McKinsey, Kadyan has advised technology companies on strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial operations. He has also led technology and artificial intelligence transformations for companies in various industries. Previously, he led McKinsey's Telecom, Media & Tech Practice in India and served as managing partner for the firm's Gurugram office.

"CBRE will benefit significantly from Anuj's extensive experience across technology, transformation and strategy," said Bob Sulentic, CBRE's chair and chief executive officer.

Kadyan joined McKinsey in 2009 and has worked from the firm's New Jersey, Atlanta, London, and Delhi offices. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor's degree in engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India.
