XTEND completes $8.8 million U.S. government defense contract

March 23, 2026 8:30 AM

JFB Construction Holdings (NASDAQ: JFB) announced that XTEND, an artificial intelligence-powered robotics company, completed delivery under an $8.8 million contract with the U.S. Government. The contract involved providing operational systems to U.S. Special Operations Forces.

The delivery included multiple prototype operational systems, ground control equipment, and mission payload modules. XTEND conducted New Equipment Training with Special Operations Forces operators, which featured live-flight exercises, mission planning, system deployment and operator-in-the-loop mission execution. Up to 30 operators participated in the training program.

During testing, XTEND's systems underwent government inspections, operational performance validation, and mission-relevant exercises designed to simulate real-world operational scenarios. The testing generated performance data and insights intended to guide future development of autonomous tactical systems.

"We believe the success of modern conflicts hinges on the ability of human operators to work seamlessly with autonomous systems," said Aviv Shapira, XTEND's Chief Executive Officer. "This milestone demonstrates our ability to deliver scalable products that can deliver precision mission capabilities at the tactical edge while keeping operators safe and firmly in control."

JFB Construction Holdings and XTEND entered into a definitive agreement in February for an all-stock business combination. The transaction includes strategic investments from Eric Trump, Unusual Machines, American Ventures LLC, Protego Ventures, and Aliya Capital. Following completion, the combined company is expected to be renamed XTEND AI Robotics and trade under the ticker "XTND" on a U.S. national securities exchange.

XTEND operates software systems and AI-powered robotics for defense, law enforcement, and private security applications. The company states it has deployed over 10,000 systems in more than 30 countries.
