Accenture invests in DaVinci Commerce for AI-powered shopping platform

March 23, 2026 8:15 AM

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) announced an investment in DaVinci Commerce, a company that develops AI-powered commerce technology. The investment was made through Accenture Ventures and includes a strategic partnership with Accenture Song.

DaVinci Commerce creates what it calls agentic AI-powered commerce systems, where AI assists in product discovery, evaluation and purchasing. The company's platform transforms brand assets into AI-compatible shopping experiences that operate across commerce networks, digital marketplaces and language model environments.

Through the partnership, Accenture Song will collaborate with DaVinci Commerce to help clients implement agentic commerce across their operations, from discovery and merchandising to checkout and fulfillment. The collaboration addresses demand from brands seeking to modernize their commerce platforms for AI-driven customer engagement.

"AI is rapidly reshaping how consumers engage with every brand," said Ndidi Oteh, CEO of Accenture Song. "As people increasingly rely on AI-assisted recommendations and begin delegating decisions to intelligent agents—being discoverable is no longer enough."

DaVinci Commerce founder Diaz Nesamoney stated that "Agentic commerce changes both when a purchase begins and how value is captured. Working with Accenture allows us to connect AI-native commerce execution with enterprise-scale capabilities in data, payments, supply chain and experience design."

The company's platform includes DaVinci Agentic BrandStore and DaVinci Commerce Marketing products. DaVinci Commerce reports that its clients include Nestlé, Diageo, Giant Eagle and Nordstrom.

Both companies will attend the Shoptalk conference in Las Vegas from March 24-26 to demonstrate their agentic commerce technology. The investment amount was not disclosed in the press release statement.
