Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast Auto Ltd. delivered nearly 197,000 electric vehicles globally during 2025, more than doubling its deliveries from the previous year, according to the company's earnings announcement.

The company reported revenue of approximately $3.6 billion, more than double its year-over-year performance. Fourth quarter deliveries reached over 86,000 units, representing VinFast's strongest quarterly performance.

International markets accounted for about 18 percent of total deliveries in the fourth quarter for the first time, with expansion into India, Indonesia, and the Philippines contributing to overseas growth.

"2025 was another landmark year for VinFast, but more importantly, it was a year of disciplined investment behind our core mission: making electric mobility and sustainable journey accessible to everyone," said Thuy Le, VinFast Chairwoman.

VinFast added manufacturing facilities in India and Indonesia during 2025, complementing its existing Vietnam plants. Total installed capacity now reaches approximately 600,000 vehicles annually across all facilities.

The company has organized its product lineup into three segments: VF passenger vehicles, Green commercial applications, and Lac Hong ultra-luxury vehicles. VinFast has also implemented a next-generation platform designed to reduce component count and enable parts sharing across models.

Manufacturing improvements include increased automation through partnerships with VinRobotics for quality inspection, assembly, and production monitoring tasks.

For 2026, VinFast has set a delivery target of at least 300,000 electric vehicles. "For 2026 and beyond, scale and unit cost optimization remain the primary levers in our path to profitability," Le stated.
