Nu Skin names Chelsea Lantz interim CFO after James Thomas departure
Nu Skin Enterprises Inc. (NYSE: NUS) appointed Chelsea Lantz as interim chief financial officer, effective immediately, following the departure of James Thomas who stepped down to pursue an outside opportunity.
Thomas served as CFO for 16 years at the beauty and wellness company. The board of directors has initiated a formal process to identify a permanent replacement for the position.
Lantz joined Nu Skin in 2011 and has served as corporate controller since 2023. In her current role, she has led cost-improvement efforts that the company states resulted in increased earnings per share year-over-year. Prior to joining Nu Skin, Lantz worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where she conducted financial audits and internal controls work for public and private companies.
"I am excited to work directly with Chelsea to carry forward this important work as we further our transformation," said Ryan Napierski, president and CEO, in a statement.
Lantz holds a Master of Accounting degree from Utah State University and a bachelor's degree from Westminster University. The Provo, Utah-based company operates in nearly 50 markets worldwide and offers beauty devices, personal care products, and wellness products.
