Nu Skin names Chelsea Lantz as interim CFO after James Thomas exits
Nu Skin Enterprises Inc. (NYSE: NUS) appointed Chelsea Lantz as interim chief financial officer, effective immediately, following the departure of James Thomas who stepped down to pursue an outside opportunity.
Thomas served as CFO for 16 years at the beauty and wellness company. "On behalf of our board, management and the entire Nu Skin team, we thank James for his leadership and significant contributions over 16 years at Nu Skin and wish him and his family well in their future pursuits," said Ryan Napierski, president and CEO.
The board of directors has initiated a formal process to appoint a permanent CFO replacement. Lantz joined Nu Skin in 2011 and has served as corporate controller since 2023, leading cost-improvement efforts that resulted in increased earnings per share year-over-year.
Prior to Nu Skin, Lantz worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where she led financial audits and internal controls for public and private companies. She holds a Master of Accounting degree from Utah State University and a bachelor's degree from Westminster University.
The Provo, Utah-based company operates in nearly 50 markets worldwide and offers beauty devices, personal care and wellness products through its affiliate platform.
