Keysight partners with AttoTude on terahertz signal analysis tools

March 19, 2026 1:00 PM

Keysight Technologies (NYSE: KEYS) announced that AttoTude Inc. has adopted enhanced signal analysis capabilities in Keysight's 89600 Vector Signal Analysis software to develop terahertz radio technology for AI data centers.

AttoTude operates a THz platform at frequencies up to 1 THz with data rates reaching 225 Gbaud using modulation formats including PAM4 and multi-level QAM. The company develops ASIC-based transmission over low-loss THz waveguides for data center interconnects.

Keysight's UXR Oscilloscope and 89600 VSA software provide AttoTude with signal analysis tools for characterizing high-speed waveforms modulated onto THz carriers. Recent enhancements to the VSA's FlexFrame measurement capability include improved frequency estimation algorithms, streamlined predistortion and receiver equalization capabilities, and expanded modulation format support.

"As we push the boundaries of THz communications for AI data centers, it is essential to have advanced signal analysis tools that can keep pace with our innovations," said Dave Welch, co-founder and CEO of AttoTude. "Keysight's UXR Oscilloscope and 89600 VSA software with FlexFrame capabilities have proven invaluable in validating and evolving our THz technology."

Joachim Peerlings, vice president and general manager of Keysight's Networks and Data Center Group, said the partnership enables AttoTude's work in THz interconnect technology for AI applications.

The information is based on a press release statement from Keysight Technologies.
