PodcastOne renews deal with A+E Networks for five podcast shows
PodcastOne (NASDAQ: PODC) announced it extended its agreement with A+E Networks for exclusive sales and distribution rights to five podcasts: Cold Case Files, I Survived, American Justice, City Confidential and Ancient Aliens.
The five podcasts have generated more than 200 million combined downloads and produced over 1,100 episodes, according to the company's statement. Each podcast supplements A+E Networks' television broadcasts of the original shows.
The partnership began in 2017 with one podcast and has expanded to five shows. Cold Case Files explores unsolved murder cases, while I Survived documents survival stories. American Justice examines criminal cases, City Confidential features stories from various American cities, and Ancient Aliens explores theories about extraterrestrial visits to Earth.
"At PodcastOne we're a full scope podcasting network that operates with a white glove boutique agency philosophy allowing us to work closely with our partners to grow podcast audiences," said Kit Gray, President and Co-Founder of PodcastOne.
PodcastOne operates as a podcast platform providing sales, marketing, production and distribution services. The company reports surpassing 3.9 billion total downloads with 200 podcasters and a distribution network reaching over 1 billion monthly impressions across platforms including YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and iHeartRadio.
The company's roster includes shows such as The Adam Carolla Show, The Jordan Harbinger Show and Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe. PodcastOne shows are available through its platform and major podcast distributors.
