WRAP upgrades Pennsylvania police department with BolaWrap 150 devices
Wrap Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: WRAP) announced that the Northern York County Regional Police Department has upgraded from BolaWrap 100 to BolaWrap 150 devices and will become the first law enforcement agency in Pennsylvania to implement the company's WrapTactics Learning Management System.
The Pennsylvania police department, which already uses BolaWrap devices and WrapReality virtual reality training systems, completed the upgrade to BolaWrap 150 in the first quarter of 2026. The BolaWrap 150 is a remote restraint device designed to help officers restrain individuals from a distance without using higher levels of force.
"We remain committed to equipping our officers with tools that expand response options and align with best practices in modern policing," said Chief David Lash of the Northern York County Regional Police Department. "Upgrading to BolaWrap 150 helps strengthen our ability to apply appropriate NLR solutions when circumstances can be resolved without escalation."
The WrapTactics Learning Management System provides digital coursework, policy reinforcement modules, and performance tracking tools for ongoing officer training. The system is designed to manage certification pathways and maintain compliance documentation requirements.
The Northern York County Regional Police Department's existing use of WrapReality virtual reality training will be integrated with the new WrapTactics system to create what the company describes as a comprehensive training ecosystem spanning classroom, virtual, and field environments.
Wrap Technologies develops non-lethal response technologies and training systems for law enforcement agencies. The company states that BolaWrap devices are used by over 1,000 agencies across the United States and in 60 countries.
