Titan International to close Tennessee plant by October 2026
Titan International Inc. (NYSE: TWI) announced it will close its manufacturing facility in Jackson, Tennessee by the end of October 2026 as part of a production consolidation effort.
The company plans to transition production from the Jackson facility to other existing Titan locations over the coming months. The closure will impact approximately 140 employees.
"The decision to consolidate production and close the Jackson facility is difficult knowing the impact it has on our team members and their families," said Paul Reitz, President and CEO of Titan International.
Titan stated it will provide support to affected employees including severance, benefits continuation and job placement assistance. The company will work with local leadership during the transition process.
The West Chicago, Illinois-based company manufactures off-highway wheels, tires, assemblies, and undercarriage products for original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket customers in agricultural, earthmoving, construction, and consumer markets.
Titan said the consolidation is part of ongoing efforts to optimize its manufacturing footprint and improve capacity utilization while maintaining the ability to serve customers across outdoor power equipment, powersports, agriculture, construction, and earthmoving sectors.
The company will continue operating manufacturing facilities across North America following the Jackson plant closure, according to the press release statement.
