Cellebrite launches Guardian Investigate AI investigative management solution

March 18, 2026 8:31 AM

Cellebrite (NASDAQ: CLBT) announced the global availability of Guardian Investigate, an AI-powered investigative management solution designed for law enforcement and investigative teams. The software enables investigators to collaborate across departments and agencies while managing case files and evidence.

The solution allows investigators to query evidence, identify connections, and build timelines across multiple files while maintaining chain of custody protocols. Guardian Investigate integrates with Cellebrite's existing Guardian platform to provide real-time evidence flow from devices directly into case management systems.

"Guardian Investigate empowers investigators to work their cases live, not just review what others prepared, and gives agency leaders real-time oversight across every unit involved," said Thomas E. Hogan, Cellebrite's chief executive officer.

The Brazoria County Sheriff's Office in Texas is piloting the solution as part of Cellebrite's Design Partner Program. Eleven investigators are using the platform to manage 64 tasks remotely in a high-profile case, according to the company. The office reported creating operational intelligence packages for Internet Crimes Against Children investigations in hours rather than months.

"Guardian Investigate bridges the gap by enabling investigators to manage the entire investigation digitally," said Kent Nielsen, Digital Forensics Investigator for the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office.

Cellebrite also announced Genesis, a standalone solution that works alongside Guardian Investigate. Both products utilize Cellebrite AI technology.

The company reports its technology is used in nearly 3 million investigations worldwide annually by more than 7,000 customers including law enforcement agencies, defense organizations, and enterprises.

Guardian Investigate is available globally, according to the company's announcement made March 18.
