Robinhood Ventures Fund I invests $34.6M in Stripe and ElevenLabs

Robinhood Ventures Fund I (NYSE: RVI) announced it has completed investments in payment processor Stripe and artificial intelligence company ElevenLabs, according to a company statement.

The fund purchased $14.6 million of Class B Common Stock in Stripe Global Holdings Inc. through secondary transactions on March 9. Stripe, founded in 2010, operates as a programmable financial services company with headquarters in South San Francisco and Dublin, Ireland. The company provides payment processing, revenue management, and money management services to businesses ranging from startups to public companies.

RVI invested approximately $20 million in Series D Preferred Stock of ElevenLabs through a primary transaction on March 12. ElevenLabs, founded in 2022 and based in London, develops artificial intelligence technology focused on audio, voice and speech generation. The company operates three platforms: ElevenAgents for voice and chat deployment, ElevenCreative for content generation across 70+ languages, and ElevenAPI for developer access to AI audio models.

RVI began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on March 6 under the ticker symbol RVI. The closed-end fund maintains a concentrated portfolio of private companies including Airwallex, Boom, Databricks, Mercor, Oura, Ramp, and Revolut, with plans to add additional companies over time.

The fund operates without accreditation requirements or investment minimums and charges a management fee without performance fees. Robinhood Ventures serves as the investment adviser for RVI and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robinhood Markets, Inc.
