Clearmind Medicine Inc. (NASDAQ: CMND) announced the publication of six patents by Hong Kong's Intellectual Property Department covering combination therapies that integrate Palmitoylethanolamide with various psychedelic compounds.

The patents protect formulations combining PEA, sourced through a partnership with NeuroThera Labs Inc. (TSXV: NTLX), with MDMA, LSD, ketamine, ibogaine, psilocybin, and DMT. The company states these combinations target enhanced therapeutic potential while potentially improving safety and tolerability profiles for mental health and neurological applications.

"We continue to expand our global IP portfolio and taking steps forward in protecting our innovative approach to psychedelic-based combination therapies," said Adi Zuloff-Shani, CEO of Clearmind Medicine.

The clinical-stage biotech company focuses on developing psychedelic-derived therapeutics for health problems including alcohol use disorder. Clearmind's intellectual property portfolio consists of 19 patent families, including 31 granted patents.

The Vancouver-based company trades on Nasdaq under the symbol CMND and develops what it describes as non-hallucinogenic, second-generation neuroplastogen-derived therapeutics. The company intends to seek additional patents for its compounds and remains open to acquiring additional intellectual property.
