Peloton Interactive Inc. (NASDAQ: PTON) appointed Sarah Robb O'Hagan as Chief Content and Member Development Officer, effective April 1. She will report to CEO and President Peter Stern and oversee content innovation and member engagement as the company transitions from connected fitness to connected wellness.

Robb O'Hagan brings three decades of experience in technology, content and community development across sports, health and fitness companies including Nike, Gatorade, Equinox, Flywheel Sports and Strava. She most recently served as CEO of EXOS, a human performance coaching company, where she led the transformation from a physical service provider to a digital coaching platform.

As President of Gatorade, Robb O'Hagan led the turnaround of the $5 billion business through innovation and new product development. At Equinox, she drove technology and content transformation as President, developing integrated approaches to expand member connection. She was recognized by Fast Company as one of the "Most Creative People in Business" and by Forbes as one of the "Most Powerful Women in Sports."

"Sarah is a visionary leader and champion of the Member experience who is uniquely equipped to lead Peloton's content and community as we aim to capture more of the $7 trillion global wellness market," Stern said.

Robb O'Hagan will succeed Chief Content Officer Jen Cotter, who is leaving after seven years with the company. Cotter will remain as an advisor through mid-August to support the transition.

The appointment supports Peloton's multi-year strategy to evolve its business model and return to sustainable, profitable revenue growth, according to the company's press release.
