Redwire adds former Air Force space acquisition executive to board
Redwire Corporation (NYSE: RDW) announced that The Honorable Frank Calvelli has been elected to its board of directors, effective March 12, 2026.
Calvelli previously served as Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition and Integration, marking him as the Pentagon's first service acquisition executive for U.S. Space Force space systems and programs. Before his Air Force role, he spent eight years as Principal Deputy Director of the National Reconnaissance Office.
The executive brings more than 36 years of experience in national security space acquisitions to the aerospace and defense technology company. Calvelli holds a bachelor's degree in computer and information sciences from the State University of New York at Potsdam and an MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland.
"Frank brings unique customer perspective and trusted experience within the national security sector," said Peter Cannito, Redwire Chairman and CEO, according to the company's announcement.
The Jacksonville, Florida-based company describes itself as a global leader in aerospace and defense technology solutions with approximately 1,400 employees across North America and Europe.
