IQVIA launches AI platform powered by NVIDIA technology

IQVIA Holdings Inc. (NYSE: IQV) announced the launch of IQVIA.ai, an artificial intelligence platform designed for life sciences organizations, at NVIDIA GTC. The platform combines IQVIA's healthcare data and expertise with NVIDIA's Nemotron, NeMo Agent Toolkit, Dynamo and LangChain technologies.

The company stated it began collaborating with NVIDIA over a year ago to develop the AI foundation for the platform. IQVIA has filed more than 100 AI-related patents and deployed over 150 intelligent agents across internal teams and client environments. According to the company, 19 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies have begun incorporating IQVIA agents into their workflows.

IQVIA.ai functions as a platform that integrates AI-driven automation, analytics and decision support tools. The system allows organizations to access and deploy AI tools and agents through a single interface, according to the press release.

"By bringing together our data, expertise and Healthcare-grade AI within a unified, agentic platform, IQVIA.ai enables organizations to move faster and smarter while meeting the rigorous standards of trust and reliability that are required in the industry."

Kimberly Powell, vice president of Healthcare and Life Sciences at NVIDIA, stated that the platform addresses data volume and complexity challenges in the life sciences industry by combining IQVIA's data with NVIDIA technology to create actionable insights.

The initial release will focus on clinical, commercial and real-world applications, with additional capabilities expected in the fourth quarter. IQVIA provides clinical research services and healthcare intelligence to life sciences companies and employs approximately 93,000 people across more than 100 countries.
