Cognizant launches AI Factory cloud platform with Dell and NVIDIA
Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH) announced the launch of Cognizant AI Factory, a multi-tenant cloud platform powered by Dell Technologies and NVIDIA infrastructure. The platform aims to help enterprises scale artificial intelligence deployment across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
The offering integrates Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA's AI software stack to manage the AI lifecycle from development to deployment. A key feature is Cognizant's proprietary Fractional GPU technology, built on NVIDIA Multi-Instance GPU, which enables multiple business units to run AI workloads concurrently while maintaining data isolation.
"Enterprises everywhere are racing to operationalize AI, but too often run into barriers around scale, cost and governance," said Sriram Kumaresan, Global Head of Cloud and Infrastructure Services at Cognizant. "Cognizant AI Factory changes the equation."
The platform includes sandbox environments for experimentation, pre-built MLOps pipelines, AI monitoring capabilities, and consumption-based pricing. Cognizant's internal testing indicates the platform could achieve 50-60% lower total cost of ownership and up to 30% faster AI processing compared to traditional approaches.
The solution supports compliance with emerging standards such as ISO/IEC 42001:2023 and provides governance controls for enterprise AI workloads. Dell Technologies provides the underlying infrastructure including PowerEdge servers, PowerSwitch networking, and PowerScale storage systems.
"Cognizant AI Factory helps enterprises turn AI's potential into real value and progress," said Denise Millard, Chief Partner Officer at Dell Technologies.
The platform represents part of Cognizant's broader AI Builder strategy for enterprise clients. The company positions itself as building AI solutions that connect investment to enterprise value through full-stack implementations.
