Sekur Private Data Ltd. (OTCQB: SWISF) announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Mokilink Services for cybersecurity solutions in the Democratic Republic of Congo and other African countries.

The Swiss-hosted cybersecurity company said the contract was arranged through its Director of Africa sales, Christophe Kabeya. Sekur is training Mokilink's sales staff and translating marketing materials into French, with sales expected to begin by the end of the second quarter of 2026.

According to the press release, cyberattacks in Africa targeting wealthy individuals, corporations and government officials have increased in recent months, particularly Business Email Compromise attacks. The company cited a Tech.Africa report stating that eight of the top 20 cyberhacked countries are in Africa.

"We are very excited to have signed our first distribution agreement in the Democratic Republic of Congo," said Alain Ghiai, CEO of Sekur. "We believe that this will be the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship with the people and businesses of the DRC."

Mokilink Services operates as an online and offline community platform connecting entrepreneurs, service providers, and small-to-medium enterprises to opportunities in the public and private sectors across the DRC, Africa and globally.

Separately, Sekur announced the issuance of 571,428 units at CA$0.05 each for gross proceeds of CA$28,571, approximately $20,000. Each unit includes one common share and one warrant allowing the purchase of an additional share at CA$0.05 for 48 months. The shares are subject to a four-month hold period under Canadian securities laws.

The company provides cybersecurity and privacy communications tools including SekurMail, SekurMessenger, and SekurVPN to governments, businesses and individuals worldwide.
