Flagstar Bank, N.A. (NYSE: FLG) announced the appointment of five senior technology leaders to advance its Simple and Sophisticated Bank platform transformation initiative.

The appointments include Christina Previti as Senior Vice President, Head of Technology Product, joining from JPMorgan Chase after 13 years in leadership roles across strategy, technology product, operations, and human resources. Eric Gunn was named Senior Vice President, Distinguished Engineer, Information Security, bringing experience from U.S. Bank and Mastercard International with expertise in offensive security operations and machine learning applications in cybersecurity.

James Kratzer joins as Senior Vice President, Distinguished Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering, with over 15 years of experience in regulated financial services and cloud practices, most recently serving as Senior Manager Cloud Security at Silicon Valley Bank. Robert Martin was appointed Senior Vice President, Distinguished Engineer, Head of AI and Engineering, bringing three decades of experience in Identity and Access Management solutions from MUFG.

Justin Zimmerman was named Senior Vice President, Distinguished Engineer, Cloud Services, joining from U.S. Bank where he led governance and AI-driven compliance initiatives across AWS and Azure platforms.

The appointments support the bank's multi-year program to replace three legacy banking environments with unified technology architecture. The initiative aims to modernize customer interactions across the bank's products and services for more than one million customers.

As of December 31, 2025, Flagstar Bank had $87.5 billion in assets, $61.0 billion in loans, $66.0 billion in deposits, and $8.1 billion in total stockholders' equity. The bank operates approximately 340 locations across ten states.
