YY Group launches Las Vegas robotics pilot for hospitality, security
YY Group Holding Limited (NASDAQ: YYGH) announced a robotics pilot program in Las Vegas, Nevada, to test hospitality and security robots in collaboration with a local robotics company. The program is expected to run for approximately one year.
The Singapore-headquartered company will deploy robotics solutions designed to assist with hospitality services and security operations across hotels and commercial properties. Testing will evaluate robotics capabilities in hotel operations, guest service support, and commercial security monitoring.
"We have already begun deploying robotics solutions in Malaysia and Singapore, including some of the finest hotels in the world," said Mike Fu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of YY Group. "Given Las Vegas' position as the entertainment capital of the world, it is a natural next step for us to test our robotics products in this dynamic market."
The company stated that if the pilot proves successful, the initiative may lead to additional robotics deployments and potential orders across hospitality properties and security operations throughout Las Vegas. YY Group expects to provide updates as testing progresses.
YY Group operates as a technology-enabled platform providing workforce solutions and integrated facility management services across Asia. The company maintains operations in Singapore and Malaysia, with presence in Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania and the Middle East.
