Byrna Technologies names Robert Holmes as VP of product development
Byrna Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: BYRN) appointed Robert Holmes as Vice President of New Product Development and Research & Development, the company announced March 16.
Holmes will lead Byrna's product innovation strategy and engineering efforts, overseeing development of new technologies and products while advancing research and development initiatives. He will work with engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams to accelerate product development and expand the company's portfolio of less-lethal personal security solutions.
Holmes previously held leadership roles at iRobot, where he drove product development and commercialization across consumer robotics platforms. He also served as Director of Research and Development at Thermacell Repellents, where he helped develop and launch the Thermacell LIV Smart Mosquito Repellent System.
"Robert brings a proven track record of guiding innovative products from concept to commercialization, and that expertise will be invaluable as we continue investing in product innovation and expanding our lineup of less-lethal personal security solutions," said Byrna CEO Conn Davis.
Holmes earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has held engineering roles at Keurig Dr. Pepper and Qinetiq North America.

Byrna specializes in the development, manufacture, and sale of less-lethal personal security solutions. The company manufactures the Byrna CL, Byrna LE and Byrna SD personal security devices.
