Byrna Technologies names Robert Holmes VP of product development
Byrna Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: BYRN) appointed Robert Holmes as Vice President of New Product Development and Research & Development, according to a company statement.
Holmes will lead the company's product innovation strategy and engineering efforts, overseeing development of new technologies and products while advancing research and development initiatives. He will work with Byrna's engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams to accelerate product development and expand the portfolio of less-lethal personal security solutions.
Holmes previously held leadership roles at iRobot, where he managed product development and commercialization across consumer robotics platforms. He also served as Director of Research and Development at Thermacell Repellents, helping develop and launch the Thermacell LIV Smart Mosquito Repellent System.
"Robert brings a proven track record of guiding innovative products from concept to commercialization," said Byrna CEO Conn Davis. "His engineering leadership and deep experience in consumer technology make him a tremendous addition to our team."
Holmes holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has held engineering roles at Keurig Dr. Pepper and Qinetiq North America.
Byrna Technologies specializes in developing, manufacturing, and selling less-lethal personal security solutions, including the Byrna CL, LE and SD personal security devices.
