NeoGenomics Inc. (NASDAQ: NEO) announced that its PanTracer LBx test received coverage from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' Molecular Diagnostics Services Program under a liquid biopsy coverage determination for solid tumors.

The blood-based comprehensive genomic profiling test supports therapy selection and clinical trial enrollment for patients with advanced solid tumors. Medicare patients can now access the test, which is performed in the company's CLIA-certified laboratory in California.

PanTracer LBx evaluates more than 500 genes, including MSI and bTMB, with a seven-day turnaround time. The test can be ordered standalone, as a reflex when tissue testing proves insufficient, or alongside tissue analysis.

The test complements the company's PanTracer Tissue product to provide comprehensive tumor profiling across different care settings.
