Sotera Health appoints Kenneth Krause to board of directors
Sotera Health Company (NASDAQ: SHC) announced the appointment of Kenneth D. Krause as an independent director to its board of directors, according to a company statement.
Krause currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Rollins, Inc. (NYSE: ROL), a position he has held since September 2022. His role expanded in 2024 to include oversight of Rollins' International Brands. Before joining Rollins, Krause worked at MSA Safety Incorporated from 2006 to 2022, serving as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Strategy Officer and Treasurer from 2015 to 2022.
Krause will serve as a member of the Audit Committee and the Litigation Committee of the board. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Slippery Rock University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business.
"Ken's leadership and proven track record of creating shareholder value as a public company chief financial officer for over 10 years, and his extensive experience in strategy, finance and governance will be tremendous assets as we continue to grow," said Michael B. Petras, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sotera Health.
The appointment follows the resignation of Constantine S. Mihas from the board, effective March 16, 2026. Mihas served as a board member since October 2020 and previously served on the board of the company's predecessor entity from 2015 until the company's initial public offering in November 2020. His resignation relates to a reduction in the number of directors that certain stockholders are entitled to designate to the board pursuant to the company's Stockholders Agreement.
Sotera Health provides sterilization solutions, lab testing and advisory services for the healthcare industry through its Sterigenics, Nordion and Nelson Labs businesses.
