Portland General Electric nominates Robert Hoglund for board election
Portland General Electric Company (NYSE: POR) nominated Robert Hoglund for election as an independent director at the company's 2026 annual shareholder meeting. If elected, Hoglund's term would begin May 1, 2026.
Hoglund served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Consolidated Edison, Inc. for more than 18 years during his two-decade tenure at the company. He previously worked in investment banking for over 15 years, including as Managing Director in the mergers and acquisitions department and utilities group head at Citigroup.
The nominee currently serves on the boards of Middlesex Water Company and South Jersey Industries. He holds bachelor's, MBA and JD degrees from the University of Virginia.
If elected, Hoglund will serve on PGE's Audit and Risk Committee and the Compensation, Culture and Talent Committee, according to the company's statement.
"Robert brings extensive utility industry experience and financial expertise that will be invaluable as we continue to navigate the evolving energy landscape and deliver value to our customers and stakeholders," said Jim Torgerson, chair of PGE's board of directors.
Portland General Electric generates, transmits and distributes electricity to nearly 960,000 customers in Oregon. The company has operated since 1889.
