Wolfspeed names Daihui Yu as regional president for Greater China
Wolfspeed Inc. (NYSE: WOLF) appointed Daihui Yu as regional president for Greater China, effective March 16, 2026, according to a company statement.
Yu will oversee business operations across mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Wuhan University of Technology and an MBA from Tsinghua University.
Prior to joining Wolfspeed, Yu spent more than 12 years at Infineon Technologies as senior vice president and head of infrastructure and industry business for Greater China. He previously worked 15 years at Schneider Electric in sales and marketing management roles and began his career as a control systems research and development engineer at the China Academy of Space Technology.
In his new role, Yu will develop and implement go-to-market strategies for the region and assume full commercial responsibility for the Greater China market.
"His strategic vision, operational excellence and client-focused approach will be critical to Wolfspeed's success in the Greater China region," said Robert Feurle, CEO of Wolfspeed.
The Durham, North Carolina-based company manufactures silicon carbide semiconductors and related products.
