iRhythm Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: IRTC) announced March 12 that Jason Patten has been appointed to its board of directors, effective immediately.

Patten currently serves as executive vice president and head of enterprise strategy at UnitedHealth Group, a position he has held since January 2022. In this role, he leads corporate strategy, strategic partnerships, and innovation functions at the healthcare organization.

Before his current role, Patten held leadership positions at UnitedHealth Group including chief operating officer and senior vice president of OptumHealth, where he focused on business performance optimization and operational strategy across the company's health services operations.

Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, Patten worked in financial services and marketing, including global product development at MoneyGram International and strategic marketing roles at Carlson Marketing Group.

Patten holds an MBA from University of St. Thomas and a bachelor's degree in marketing from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
