March 12, 2026 9:01 AM

JetBlue Airways Corp. (NASDAQ: JBLU) announced service expansions at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, adding daily flights to four destinations starting in June.

The airline will convert its limited seasonal service between Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville into daily year-round flights beginning June 18. JetBlue previously offered Jacksonville flights only during spring break periods.

The expansion includes increased frequency to Cartagena, Colombia, moving from four flights per week to daily service starting June 11. Dallas-Fort Worth and Tampa routes will expand from once-daily to twice-daily flights, both beginning June 18.

"These additions reflect the strength of demand we're seeing in Fort Lauderdale and our continued commitment to building depth in our South Florida focus city," said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of revenue, network and enterprise planning at JetBlue.

JetBlue operates the most departures of any airline at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and has added 20 destinations from the airport over the past year, according to the company's statement. The airline serves destinations across the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale.

Fort Lauderdale was JetBlue's first destination when the airline began operations 26 years ago. The company describes Fort Lauderdale as one of its focus cities alongside New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Orlando, and San Juan.
