Halozyme names David Ramsay as interim CFO effective March 23
Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: HALO) announced that David Ramsay has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer, effective March 23, 2026. Ramsay will oversee all financial operations while the company continues searching for a permanent CFO.
Ramsay brings over 30 years of financial leadership experience in biotechnology and life sciences sectors. He previously served as Halozyme's CFO from 2003 to 2009 and again from 2013 to 2015, during which the company evolved from a private enterprise to a public biopharmaceutical company.
Most recently, Ramsay served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bonti, Inc. until its sale to Allergan plc in October 2018.

The San Diego-based biopharmaceutical company has engaged an executive search firm to identify permanent CFO candidates. Ramsay will remain in the interim role until a permanent CFO is appointed.
Ramsay holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.B.A. with a dual major in finance and strategic management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Halozyme develops drug delivery technologies, including its ENHANZE drug delivery platform that facilitates subcutaneous delivery of injected drugs and fluids. The company's technology has been used in ten commercialized products across over 100 global markets.
