Aurora Mobile reports first-time annual profitability

Aurora Mobile (NASDAQ: JG) achieved full-year profitability on a GAAP basis for the first time in company history during 2025, according to a shareholder letter from Chairman and CEO Weidong Luo.

The Shenzhen-based customer engagement and marketing technology services provider recorded GAAP net income for three consecutive quarters in 2025. Fourth-quarter revenue reached RMB105.2 million ($14.5 million), representing a 13% year-over-year increase and 16% sequential growth.

The company's overseas business showed growth, with its EngageLab product reaching $10 million in annual recurring revenue by December 2025. EngageLab's customer base expanded 142% year-over-year to 1,641 customers across more than 70 countries and regions.

Aurora Mobile's cash position strengthened to RMB173.4 million as of December 31, 2025, compared with RMB119.5 million at the end of 2024. Operating cash flow in the fourth quarter reached RMB35.1 million, marking the strongest quarterly performance since the third quarter of 2020.

The company's core Developer Subscription business generated RMB61.9 million in fourth-quarter revenue, surpassing RMB60 million for the first time in a single quarter. The net dollar retention rate for this segment reached 103% for the trailing 12-month period.

Aurora Mobile provided revenue guidance for 2026, projecting total revenue between RMB450 million and RMB480 million, representing year-over-year growth of approximately 20% to 28%. The company expects EngageLab to maintain triple-digit growth while domestic business remains stable.

The company operates through its EngageLab platform and AI infrastructure GPTBots.ai, focusing on customer engagement, marketing technology, and AI-powered customer service solutions. Aurora Mobile was founded in 2011 and has evolved from mobile messaging services to a comprehensive customer interaction platform.
