Accenture (NYSE: ACN) announced an expansion of its strategic partnership with Google Cloud to address AI-driven cyber threats through combined cybersecurity services and technology platforms.

The collaboration integrates Google Security Operations platform with Accenture's cybersecurity services to provide unified cyber defense capabilities. The partnership aims to help organizations protect against advanced threats including automated malware and AI-enhanced social engineering attacks.

"Agentic AI isn't just reshaping cyber defense strategies, it's redefining how we secure operations, introducing new levels of complexity for organizations protecting their businesses," said Rex Thexton, chief technology officer at Accenture Cybersecurity.

The expanded partnership includes Accenture's existing collaboration with Wiz, a cloud security company that Google Cloud recently acquired. Organizations can deploy the Google Security Operations platform alongside Accenture's Cybersecurity AI Migration Factory to accelerate security information and event management transitions.

Accenture's internal Information Security team is implementing Wiz across its global cloud infrastructure to identify and address security risks. The company maintains partnerships with both Wiz and Google Cloud to assist customers integrating security systems across both platforms.

Everest Group recognized Accenture as the highest leader in its Cloud Security Services PEAK Matrix Assessment 2025 among 18 service providers. Google Cloud named Accenture Global Services Partner of the Year for the third consecutive year and awarded the company its global Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Solutions award for 2025.
