Evofem Biosciences Inc. (OTCID: EVFM) reported net sales of $20.2 million for the year ended December 31, 2025, marking the company's fifth consecutive year of sales growth. The San Diego-based women's health company achieved operating income of $3.4 million compared to an operating loss of $7.7 million in 2024.

The company's net sales increased 4% from $19.4 million in the prior year, driven primarily by sales of PHEXX, a hormone-free contraceptive vaginal gel, and SOLOSEC, an oral antibiotic treatment. SOLOSEC contributed to growth with a full year of sales in 2025 versus 5.5 months in 2024, after Evofem acquired the product in July 2024.

Total operating expenses decreased 38% to $16.8 million from $27.0 million in 2024. The reduction included a $5.6 million gain from settling trade payables with vendors and a $1.9 million gain from accounting estimate changes on a contingent royalty liability.

For the fourth quarter, net sales reached $9.6 million, up 35% from $7.1 million in the prior year period. Fourth-quarter operating income was $3.3 million compared to a $1.0 million operating loss in the same period of 2024.

The company reported net income attributable to common stockholders of $0.3 million, or $0.00 per share, for 2025, versus a net loss of $9.0 million, or $0.11 per share, in 2024.

Since October 2025, Evofem has advanced manufacturing cost reduction initiatives targeting estimated reductions of 55-60% for both PHEXX and SOLOSEC. The Emirates Drug Establishment issued pricing certificates for PHEXX as a preliminary step toward regulatory approval in the United Arab Emirates.
