CrowdStrike partners with Perplexity for AI browser security integration

March 11, 2026 4:08 PM

CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD) and Perplexity announced a partnership to integrate the CrowdStrike Falcon platform with Comet Enterprise, Perplexity's AI browser for businesses. The companies made the announcement at the Ask 2026 event in Austin, Texas.

The integration will provide enterprise administrators with security monitoring capabilities within Perplexity's AI-native browser through an opt-in feature. The Falcon platform will offer detection, governance, and data protection to control web threats, manage data movement, and provide visibility on unmanaged devices.

According to CrowdStrike's 2026 Global Threat Report, AI-enabled adversaries increased operations by 89% year over year, while 82% of detections in 2025 were malware-free. The partnership addresses security concerns as enterprises integrate AI into daily operations.

The collaboration builds on CrowdStrike's acquisition of Seraphic, which enhanced the Falcon platform's browser-layer protection capabilities. The integration will apply enterprise security policies directly within AI workflows to prevent unauthorized data sharing and protect proprietary content.

"The browser is no longer just where people access information – it's becoming the interaction layer for enterprise AI," said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike. "Perplexity has led the way in secure AI browsing since launching Comet, and we're excited to partner with them to extend CrowdStrike's protections into AI-native workflows."

Dmitry Shevelenko, chief business officer at Perplexity, said the partnership adds control for enterprises wanting to extend CrowdStrike's protections into browser environments. Comet Enterprise currently provides secure AI-native browsing capabilities.

The partnership aims to secure AI-driven workflows across enterprise environments by providing real-time data protection and policy enforcement within AI interactions.
